As with the previous week, last week’s weather at the Pole was a little cloudy, not the best for getting good glimpses of the one-and-only sunset (it will be a while before they see the sun again). Fortunately, there were a few moments when the skies cleared, and most of the crew took the opportunity to enjoy the sunset and take some photos. Even the “green flash” was clearly visible for this sunset, as shown in the image below, although many were disappointed that their cameras weren’t up to the task of rendering the green in the photos. Still, a beautiful sunset it was, and the last image shows a nice sun pillar extending up from the horizon.
