IceCube will be a part of the Wisconsin Science Festival this year and is excited to interact with the public during this four day event. The Discovery Expo will take place at the Discovery Building beginning on Thursday, November 2nd. IceCube researchers and staff will host a variety of interactive science activities and hands-on experiments during three of the Discovery Expo days: November 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. Kids and adults are encouraged to come and participate in science exploration, including a demonstration of the IceCube LED display. So visit us and learn more about the IceCube detector!
Visitors to the Discovery Expo will be able to participate in many activities across a wide range of scientific fields, such as virtual reality, health and medicine, chemistry, and, of course, astrophysics.
The Discovery Building is located at 330 North Orchard Street, Madison, Wisconsin. The Discovery Expo begins on Thursday, November 2nd at 9:00am.
